Wheelchair Leg Rests for Better Support, Comfort & Circulation

Choosing the right wheelchair leg rest isn’t just about comfort — it directly impacts posture, circulation and long-term mobility health.

At Gilani Engineering Pty Ltd, we supply high-quality wheelchair leg rests and elevating footrest supports designed for both manual and electric wheelchairs.

Whether you require:

• Elevating leg rests for circulation management

• Swing-away leg rests for easier transfers

• Adjustable footplate supports

• Replacement leg rest attachments

We offer solutions built for durability, safety and long-term daily use.

Elevating Leg Rests for Improved Positioning

Elevating wheelchair leg rests are ideal for users who:

• Require improved lower-limb circulation

• Experience swelling or pressure sensitivity

• Need better seated positioning support

• Spend extended hours in their wheelchair

Adjustable elevation allows controlled leg positioning while maintaining stability and comfort.

Swing-Away Leg Rests for Easier Transfers

Swing-away leg rests pivot outward, making side transfers safer and more practical — especially in home, hospital or vehicle environments.

This is particularly beneficial for:

• Assisted transfers

• Car access modifications

• Compact indoor mobility

• Rehabilitation users
