A Lowered-Floor Conversion Without a Traditional Long Rear Ramp
The G24 NoRamp® is an engineered
lowered-floor wheelchair accessible vehicle conversion.
The term NoRamp® refers to the wheelchair access method — not whether
the vehicle has a lowered floor.
At the touch of a button, the access system brings the wheelchair
entrance closer to ground level, allowing the wheelchair user to enter
and exit without deploying a traditional long external rear ramp.
This can be particularly useful in residential driveways, shopping centre
car parks, medical facilities, school loading areas and other places
where space behind the vehicle is limited.
Designed Around Real Everyday Wheelchair Travel
Accessibility is not only about getting into the vehicle. The complete
setup also needs to suit the wheelchair, occupant, family, carers and
everyday travel routine.
No Traditional Long Rear Ramp
Wheelchair access does not depend on deploying or positioning a traditional
long external ramp behind the vehicle.
1600mm Internal Height
Generous internal height for a wide range of manual and powered
wheelchairs, subject to individual suitability assessment.
Flexible Wheelchair Positioning
Second-row, third-row and selected twin-wheelchair configurations can
be considered depending on the required vehicle layout.
Australian Engineering Support
Assessment, engineering, manufacture, installation and ongoing technical
support are available through Gilani Engineering.

Assess the Actual Vehicle With Your Client
We welcome Occupational Therapists to inspect and trial the Hyundai Staria
G24 with the participant and the wheelchair that will actually be used in
the vehicle.
A physical trial helps assess the real vehicle and wheelchair combination
rather than relying solely on generic measurements.
During a trial we can review:
- Wheelchair width and length
- Seated occupant height
- Internal clearance
- Entry and exit
- 2nd or 3rd row position
- Twin-wheelchair requirements
- Wheelchair restraints
- Occupant restraint positioning
- Passenger seating
- Carer access
- Mobility equipment
- Daily transport requirements
More Than an Access System
A wheelchair accessible vehicle is a significant vehicle modification.
The lowered floor, access system, wheelchair position, restraints and vehicle
configuration need to work together as a complete system.
Tested Load

Safe Working Load

What Is Modified on a Hyundai Staria G24?
The exact vehicle modifications depend on the Hyundai Staria model,
model year, wheelchair travel position and selected G24 configuration.
For this reason, Gilani Engineering does not make blanket claims that every
original vehicle component is retained or changed across every G24 configuration.
Before proceeding, our engineering team can explain the proposed conversion
for the specific vehicle being assessed and identify the areas affected by
the modification.

To be honest, I am extremely happy with how my conversion turned out. I’m very glad I decided to proceed with the no ramp conversion for my family. The entire process was smooth, from booking to completion and everything was handled efficiently. Anthony was very helpful throughout and made the experience straightforward and stress-free.
I would highly recommend this service.
