What this wheelchair is designed for
The WD Falcon24 is designed for users who need more support than standard folding electric wheelchairs, without moving to a large non-folding bariatric chair.
It combines strength, comfort, and portability in a setup suitable for daily mobility and transport.
Many users choose this type of chair because it offers stronger support while still remaining practical for shopping centres, appointments, travel and day-to-day use.
For users comparing larger mobility options, this model provides a balance between portability and the additional support often expected from bariatric wheelchair solutions.
Why people choose the Falcon24
- Higher weight support without oversized frame
- Reclining backrest for improved comfort during longer use
- Three seat width options for proper fit and support
- Folding design for easier transport
- Balanced weight (29kg) compared to heavy-duty models
Users looking for easier transport and storage may also compare other folding electric wheelchairs designed for everyday mobility and travel.
Tested capacity you can rely on
Many electric wheelchairs list a 180kg capacity, but do not provide real testing data.
The WD Falcon24 has been tested under a 200kg load using ISO 7176-2 wheelchair stability standards.
- Tested load: 200kg
- ISO stability testing completed
- Recommended user weight: 180kg
This provides confidence that the chair is designed for stability and real-world use, not just a listed specification.
Seat sizes for better support
Choosing the right seat width improves comfort and stability during use.

Mara (verified owner) –
I have been researching electric wheelchairs for a long time, every time I found another brand it did not stack up to the GE Falcon!
A few weeks ago I ordered a Falcon received it swiftly even though I live in the NW of WA, my husband unblocked the wheelchair (affectionately named Falky) and
I could not wait to start using it! I practiced a while because I have never used an electric wheelchair before, everything is simple and straightforward and logical!
The comfort is fantastic! I can honestly not say enough positive great things about this wheelchair…it is now my BFF…..sorry hubby! Lol! I am going to purchase the leg extenders soon. Thank you GE for a wonderful, brilliant product!

Can you purchase this wheelchair to suit 580mm between the arm rest? If so what would the cost be to have it delivered to Cairns 4869 Qld. I am not interested in hire only purchase outright. Thank you Bill.
