Can I change my delivery address?

Yes, certainly we can help you with this, however you have to contact us before we ship the product.

You will be notified via email that you order is delivered. Further, you will be provided with a tracking number you can track down your product whenever you want. We use standard shipping methods and all our shipping partner are reliable and trustable in the market.

As soon as we get your product shipped from our store we will provide you a tracking number and tracking link to track down your product.

We do ship internationally, please get in touch at sales@gilaniengineering.com.au for further information on international shipping fee.

We do have delivery and pick ups. however if you need your product to be assembled or quick postage, you need to contact us to discus the option and the fees.

– We deliver all around Australia and Internationally. However, if there is a place the shipping companies don’t deliver we provide you a full refund.

– Gilani Engineering does not offer set delivery times. We will endeavor to deliver the Goods on the day agreed with you, we will contact you prior to delivery to provide your estimated delivery window and a track and trace link. If this does not happen, please contact our store. Please note that delivery may be affected by factors outside of Gilani Engineering’s control, such as adverse weather conditions, traffic conditions and the actions of the delivery agent, and we therefore cannot guarantee delivery at the prearranged time and day.

-You must provide at least 4 hours’ notice if you wish to change the delivery date/time that you have agreed with us, by calling the phone number you have been given. If the Premises are unattended, Gilani Engineering will wait 15 minutes, & if still unattended, the Goods will be returned back to the store and we reserve the right to charge you its reasonable costs of any failed delivery and for rearranging the delivery.

– You, or another responsible person over the age of 18 who you have given authority to accept delivery of the Goods, must be present at the time of delivery. Any reference to “you” in the paragraphs below includes any such person.

– You must ensure that the delivery vehicle can park immediately outside the entrance to the Premises. Gilani Engineering reserves the right to refuse to deliver where it is unable to park within 20 meters of the entrance to the Premises.

– You must ensure that any pets are placed in a secure location before delivery commences and at all times during the Delivery Process. The term “Delivery Process” includes the process for delivering the Goods and also, if relevant, Assembly, Demonstration and Removal of the waste packaging.

– We will take reasonable care but cannot guarantee that floors or walls will not get dirty, wet or incur minor scuffing or minor indentations during the Delivery Process. Gilani Engineering suggest that you cover floors or walls to protect them. This will protect Gilani Engineering from any dispute as to whether Gilani Engineering staff have caused any damage to your Premises during the Delivery Process.

– You are responsible for ensuring that the route(s) from the boundary of the Premises to the specific delivery location (and, if applicable, the location of the Old Goods) is of sufficient size, safe and clear of obstacles. In particular, please bear in mind the weight of the Goods to be delivered and whether the floors are strong enough for the load and whether tiles or other floor coverings or materials could be damaged as a result of this weight and delivery process. To the full extent permitted by law, Gilani Engineering shall not be responsible for any loss, cost, damage, expense, injury or death arising from the structure, fixtures or fittings of the Premises being unable to bear the weight of the Goods.

– Upon arrival at the Premises, you must ensure that Gilani Engineering can commence all relevant tasks without delay. Our staff will inspect the location(s) and the route from the delivery vehicle to that/those location(s). In the event that Gilani Engineering’s staff believe that the route to a location or the location itself is unsafe or impractical for the goods in standard packaging they will be unable to perform the delivery to that location and will in the case of delivery, deliver the Goods to such other location inside or outside the Premises as You direct, provided they consider this location and the route to this location to be safe and practical;

– You are responsible for ensuring that any required electrical supplies facilities are within reach of the delivery location and that they are compatible, in good condition and working order and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future. If our staff believe that this is not the case (for example, because the electrical wiring for the Goods are not made ready for connection) or are otherwise unsuitable they will deliver the Goods but will not connect the Goods and we will Not provide a refund of the “Assembly” component of the delivery fee. To the full extent permitted by law, Gilani Engineering shall not be responsible for any loss, cost, damage, expense, injury or death arising from any sockets being damaged, faulty, incompatible with, or otherwise unsuitable for, the Goods.

– Gilani Engineering is not liable for any Risk of loss of, damage to or theft of the Goods passed to you at the time of delivery.

– At the end of the Delivery Process, we may photograph for proof of delivery.

-Gilani Engineering will not assemble any product(s) that is not its.

– To the full extent permitted by law, Gilani Engineering shall not be liable to you or any other person for any loss, cost, damage, expense, injury or death arising from, or in connection with the delivery, assembly and more of the Goods. For the avoidance of doubt and without limitation (and to the full extent permitted by law), Gilani Engineering shall not be liable for any (a) loss of profits; (b) loss of revenue; (c) loss of anticipated savings; (d) loss of business opportunity; (e) loss of goodwill; (f) loss of reputation; (g) loss of data; (h) cost of obtaining replacement goods or services; (i) consequential, indirect or incidental loss; (j) special loss; (k) punitive or exemplary damages; or (l) economic loss or damages or any nature or description; or (m) for any loss or damage caused by any contractor or employee as a result of such contractor or employee acting outside of his, her or its actual authority or not in performance of his her or its duties to Gilani Engineering.

– If Gilani Engineering suffers any loss, damage, cost or expense as a result of your failure to comply with these terms and conditions, including (without limitation) any breach of the warranty, then you must pay Gilani Engineering the amount of that loss, damage, cost or expense if Gilani Engineering asks you to.

– We may subcontract all or some of its obligations in these Terms and Conditions. Any reference to Gilani Engineering should be interpreted as a reference to any relevant subcontractor where applicable.

We have 14 days customer satisfaction policy. Plus our payment gateway are secured with advanced SSL protocols. We keep your information safe and only use for internal house marketing. All of our products come with warranty and we are always there to help you out. Returns are accepted for 14 days from the date of purchase and a restocking fees of 20% applies upon safely returning the product to us in its original packaging.

How do I return an item?

You can return the item using any of our partner shipping methods. However, customers have to pay for the shipping fee on return. Kindly note that the product should be in the original state and packing. For further details on refund you can visit our refund policy.

Our refund procedure:

  • You can return your item within 14 days of the purchase/delivery date only. If you have a change of mind or you purchased a wrong product. We will offer only a store credit, a 20% restocking fee will apply. 
  • Contact us to discuss the best option
  • Book in for return shipping
  • Our engineer checks the returned product for its condition and packaging
  • Please note that a re-stocking (20%) and reduction of the original shipping fee is applicable. Please make sure to hold on the original packaging in case of return. Credit will be initiated only if the product is in the original condition and packaging
  • In unfortunate circumstances example death, a 20% admin fee may apply, even if the product not delivered. The remaining balance will be refunded and no credit store will be offered unless differently is agreed.

Yes, there are items that are excluded from the return policy. These items are: Specially Ordered or Customised items. Products that are hygenic products such as but not limited to; transfer and bathroom aids are excluded from this refund policy. Any damaged product, products that are not in the original packaging or condition are excluded from this refund policy. Also, all hygienic products are non refundable due to hygiene reasons. These are  but not limited to all bathroom and transfer solutions, mattresses, cushions and pillows. 

Once we receive the product we will start the credit process and the refundable amount will be credited as a store credit under your account. Kindly note that the product should be in the original state and packing. please note that a 20% of the purchase price as restocking fee may apply.

You will receive a full refund/credit if:
You will receive a full refund if you have received a full damaged product beyond the repair. Please make sure to take as many photos and videos of the wrong/damaged product upon the arrival for your future references.

You will receive a partial credit:
In case of change in mind or purchase of a wrong product, you will receive a partial store credit after receiving the product back in store in its original condition and packaging.

This partial credit is only applicable within 14 days of the purchase date. After 14 days partial credit is not applicable in case of change of mind or purchase a wrong product.

(please note that we do not provide any advice on a product suitability, so choose your product carefully prior to the purchase).

Also note that if the product is misused, damaged or incomplete upon the return, we will not provide any store credit and you can simply recollect the product from our warehouse.

Please contact us immediately If you received wrong product. We will replace the wrong product and book in for the return of the wrong product asap.

We have 14 days change of mind policy (please read change of mind return policy). You can contact us any time you wish to return the product within 14 days from the purchase date.

We do offer warranty under our manufacturer guarantee policy for most of our products. One year on the electric parts and one year on the frame.

What does mean manufacturer guarantee?
It means that our products are covered under our warranty policy if they are defect/not working as they should due to the manufacturing/production line. Our warranty policy may include repair, replacement of the parts or replacement of the whole product.
Misused products are not included in this warranty policy.
For example: you unpack your brand new wheelchair and you find out that there is a big crack on the front wheel. In this case a new wheel will be sent to you for the replacement free of charge under warranty.

We advise our customers to take photos, notes and videos of the faulty product upon arrival of a product and to notify us within 48 hours on the arrival of the faulty product to secure your warranty claim.

When a product is eligible for repair, part replacement or full replacement under the warranty, the customer is responsible for booking a delivery and pick up to/from our warehouse including all fees in this regard.

environmental sustainability and recognises that a sustainable environment is central to our lives

The aim of our Environmental Sustainability Policy is to:
