Gilani Engineering at the Source Kids Disability Expo

In Australia, almost 850,000 young people live with a disability. These demographics, all under the age of 25 years old are the target audience of the Source Kids Disability Expo. This unique event held at the International Convention Centre provided a platform for mobility aids specialist suppliers to exhibit their innovative products and services designed to enhance the lives of young people with disabilities.

The requirements of young people with disabilities are different because some of them are still growing and would need an adaptable paediatric wheelchair that’ll grow with them. Some of them will still want to lead an active lifestyle, participating in sports at school, while others would want to have a successful career as a young professionals. These aspirations are possible, thanks to mobility products that help open doors of opportunities for the disabled community.

As a key participant in the expo, Gilani Engineering showcased its commitment to promoting accessibility and inclusivity by demonstrating our mobility products, bedroom, bathroom and living room aids, person transfer solutions, disabled car modifications, pain management products, etc. customized for young people with disabilities.

The Gilani Engineering team also had the privilege to discuss with people with disabilities, their caregivers and families the challenges they faced on a day-to-day basis and how Gilani Engineering’s products could help solve them.

At Gilani Engineering, “There is always a better solution!
